Big month loading for Tesla.
This Thursday, September 3, Tesla is holding the official Cybercab launch event in Austin. The purpose-built two-seater robotaxi (no steering wheel, no pedals) is finally stepping into the spotlight after production started at Giga Texas earlier this year. Expect live demos, more details on the unsupervised Robotaxi network, and possibly a clearer path to consumer sales next year (Musk has previously floated a sub-$30k price).
Also on the September calendar:
- Tesla Semi volume production ramp at the new Nevada factory later this month
- Persistent rumors that the next-gen Roadster could make an appearance “very soon”
Meanwhile:
- Q2 delivered record vehicle numbers (480k+) and first-ever $100B+ trailing twelve-month revenue
- Energy storage continues climbing and FSD subscription attach rates are hitting new highs
- Capex is running hot ($25B+ this year) as the company pours money into AI, Cybercab, Optimus, and battery capacity
Stock has been on a rollercoaster — strong August rally, some pullback this week — but all eyes are now on that Cybercab event.
The future of autonomy, energy, and robotics is accelerating. Buckle up.
