Functions & Usage:
Color & Brightness adjust:
1 Â Â For Model 3 Highland and the new Model Y Juniper, the ambient light color is adjusted via the vehicle's main touchscreen settings.
2 Â Â For the refreshed Model 3 and Model Y, the ambient light brightness is adjusted via the vehicle's main touchscreen settings.
3 Â Â For older Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, the ambient light brightness changes in sync with the vehicle's main touchscreen brightness setting.
4 Â Â For older Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, ambient light color is adjusted using the right steering wheel scroll wheel: long-press the wheel to the right for 2 seconds to enter adjustment mode, then scroll up or down to change the color; the mode exits automatically after 5 seconds of inactivity.
Warning Instroduction :
5 Â Â Overspeed warning: a red light segment appears at the front of the steering wheel.
6 Â Â Blind spot warning: a yellow light segment appears on the side where a vehicle is approaching from the rear.
7 Â Â Blind spot warning: a red light segment appears on the side where a vehicle is approaching from the rear with its turn signal on.
Welcome Mode:
8 Â Â Door opening: a green light flows from the center toward the opening side as a welcome effect; if the door remains open, a short red segment appears on the opening side.
Temperature adjust:
9 Â Â Temperature or airflow adjustment (low to high): a red light flows from left to right.
10 Â Â Temperature or airflow adjustment (high to low): a blue light flows from right to left.
11 Â Â Autopilot (AP) engaged: a tricolor light display appears at both ends.
12Â Â Mode Switching: Long-press the left steering wheel scroll wheel to the left for 2 seconds to enter adjustment mode; press the left scroll wheel to the right to cycle through modes (each press switches the mode). There are three modes: Original Vehicle Mode, Throttle Mode, and Breathing Mode.
13 Â Â Original Vehicle Mode: Ambient lights remain constantly on; functions 1 through 10 operate normally.
14 Â Â Throttle Mode: The center of the light strip glows red; as throttle input increases, the red light expands outward toward both ends.
15 Â Â Breathing Mode: Light strip brightness pulses like human breathing (alternating between bright and dim); when a turn signal is activated, the corresponding side flashes green.
16 Â Â Switching between 120cm and 115cm lengths: Long-press the left scroll wheel to the right for 2 seconds to toggle between 120cm and 115cm lengths. When switching from 120cm to 115cm, the display length for the right-side turn signal and blind-spot warning shortens to match the left side.
17 Â Â LHD/RHD Setting: Press and hold the left scroll wheel downward while pressing the right scroll wheel to the left once to switch to RHD (Right-Hand Drive) mode.
18 Â Â Overspeed Alert (Default: Off): Press and hold the left scroll wheel downward while pressing the right scroll wheel to the right once to toggle the alert on or off.
19 Â Â Reduce overspeed alert brightness.
