The new 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper has officially removed the traditional gearshift—just like the latest Model 3 and earlier Juniper versions. But don’t worry, SATONIC brings it back. On this page, you’ll learn how to choose the right gearshift solution and see step-by-step guidance on installing a gearshift for your 2026 Tesla Model 3 and New Model Y Juniper.
You can save this page or follow the SATONIC YouTube channel. If there are any updates or new information, we will add them here.

Tesla updates its vehicles rapidly across different production periods. For the 2026 New Model Y Juniper, the steering wheel design varies between U.S. production and models built in other countries. As a result, there are two different steering wheel versions, which also means two different gearshift versions. Even U.S.-made 2026 Model Y Juniper vehicles come in two variants, so it’s important to confirm which version your car has before choosing a gearshift.

For U.S.-made New Tesla Model Y Juniper, you’ll need to check your steering wheel to determine whether you have Option 1 or Option 2. For New Model Y Juniper vehicles produced in other countries, you can select Option 2 directly.

The 2026 New Model 3 now comes with only one signal indicator stalk, which matches the same configuration as New Model Y Juniper Option 2.
